After many years of writing and rewriting my memoir, I finally held a copy in my hands. Publishing Between Two Worlds has been a bucket list goal of mine.

With that said, I am so excited to let you know that I have my first book signing engagement. A dear friend and author Phyllis M Skoy, who recently published Myopia, a Memoir, and the novel What Survives, has offered to hold a private event in her home, and a few public events are in the works.

But my first event will start small, more intimate like a fireside chat. I am reviewing several vignettes from the book that will capture the essence of the story, and hopefully, put a smile on everyone’s face.  The August event will kick off the launch of my book, and I’ll be sure to blog about that experience here.

My first bit of good news: My publicist at Gallaudet University Press, Angela Leppig, said my author website “looked great,” especially the link to the YouTube videos where I greet my readers in sign language.  (If you are interested in requesting a copy of the book for review or in scheduling an author interview with me, you can send a message to her at

I invite you to take a look around my site, and I look forward to hearing from you.
